On 7 April a joint social evening with Rotherham Rotary Club was held at the Carlton Park Hotel. The main event was a game of "Call My Bluff". Both teams proved to be extremely good "fibbers" and the game ended in a tie. Lord Scarborough acted as Question Master and Referee. Peter Short dazzled in his multi-coloured waistcoat and took the opportunity to tell some of his taller stories. A collection on the evening raised £415 for Rotary Foundation.
