Rotary Young Leadership Award

At our meeting at the beginning of April, Students Dylan and James gave us a very professional PowerPoint presentation after attending the annual Rotary Young Leadership Award (RYLA) in Castleton.

The 3-day residential based at the custom-built Rotary Centre is a cross between Outward Bound and the Apprentice. It aims to encourage leadership skills and build self-esteem through group challenges.

Their presentation gave us a greater understanding of the nature of the project and enabled us to be better informed when encouraging young people to attend in the future.
