Mel In Charge

President Elect Mel took charge of her first club meeting last week. Good fun, hardly any formality at all, and two surprise items.
The first, seeing Peter Keary drinking water! He claimed to be on antibiotics, having been bitten?? How dare an insect attack him!
The second, in the absence of Community and Vocational Chair Tom Knight, a stand-in report from Paul Daniels. He reminded us all what
a great job each member of the committee does (as Tom would have done), mentioning each of them by name. He reported on activity
and plans; however, he did it using Tom's words, gestures, and approach. Absolutely brilliant!
