Parkgate and Shetland!

At our meeting in mid-April we had a very interesting talk by Tony Dodsworth on the history of Parkgate. The development of the area as a major steel-making centre during the Industrial Revolution through to the "Retail World" of today is a fascinating chapter in our local history.

We were also pleased to welcome Visiting Rotarian and Past-President of Shetland Rotary, Patricia Ash, who kindly presented a decorated tray to President Martin to be a prize in our next charity raffle.
